APHA, MISS SORTA QUO, born 04/28/98. Please pardon our pictures because they don't do her justice. She's "cut" like you like a cow horse to be! "Quo" is heavy reining breed and she knows it. Her sire, APHA, STATUS QUO  was the "foundation stallion" at Double D Ranch in Nacogdoches, Texas for several years. He has sired point earners in Reining, Western Pleasure, Trail, Pole Pending, Halter and Hunter Under Saddle. Her dam, APHA KINDA SORTA, combines the unequalled crossover paint and quarter sire SONNY DEE BAR, as well as her dam goes back to AQHA TUFF VALENTINE. This is APACHE, born 04/01/96. Her sire's owner divorced and moved out of state before he furnished us a breeding report so we haven't been able to register her. Her sire was AQHA, her dam APHA. As you can see, she is also a cow breed horse. She is "broke" the best way, you can go a year or two without riding her and saddle her up and she acts like it was yesterday! You can also ride her bareback. She also gave us our first baby, a beautiful well built tobiano gelding that's named HALEY'S COMET, that was born shortly after our grandaughter, Haley. She lost her foal last year and by the grace of GOD she nursed a foal that her dam would have nothing to do with, that would have died. We still have "LEAP", now a red roan paint yearling, happy and healthy and still convinced that APACHE is her dam! She is breed back so with God's help, we will have a grade foal for sale next year.
